Dear Dolphin Families,

Team spirit and community are a big part of what makes the Greenbriar Dolphins special! Our Big Dolphin / Little Dolphin Program helps swimmers connect across age groups, build friendships, and support one another throughout the season.

In this program, older swimmers are paired with younger swimmers to encourage each other at practices and meets, help younger Dolphins feel confident and prepared, and make the season even more fun. Depending on team size, some swimmers may even be part of a “Middle Dolphin” pod!

Buddy assignments will be shared by the Ice Cream Social on June 12, and swimmers will find their Big/Little Dolphin assignment in their swim folder.

We encourage swimmers to:

• Meet their buddy at the Ice Cream Social (June 12) or Time Trials (June 13)
• Take a photo together for the Big/Little Dolphin poster
• Cheer each other on during events
• Make encouraging posters or whiteboard signs
• Play games together at meets
• Show team spirit with tattoos, markers, or fun decorations
• Celebrate each other with kind words like “Great swim!” and “Way to go!”

Most importantly, we want everyone to have fun and help create a positive, supportive team environment.

If your swimmer does NOT wish to participate in the Big Dolphin / Little Dolphin Program, please notify us by May 30. Pods will be finalized before June 6.
