Pancake Breakfast

Greenbriar Pool

We flip for our swimmers! Summer swim is kicking off with a pancake breakfast sponsored by the team. All Greenbriar swimmers are welcome to grab a plate after practice Monday morning to start fueling up for our first Monday night meet.

Warm-up: 7:45 AM

End: 11:30 AM (estimated)

Swimmers must declare availability for meet by June 12 at 6pm. The swimmer list will be emailed Thursday night. Please ensure your swimmers come prepared to swim in their Greenbriar Team Suit and Greenbriar Team Cap. Greenbriar warmups will be held at 7:45AM.

Friday Night Pep Rally -Green Out

Greenbriar Pool

Start: 6:00 PM

End: 8:30 PM

Please join us in the side lot beside the pool for food and fun. Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets and BUG spray! This will be our KICK OFF event of the season and we will be making banners for the home meet on Saturday, so don't miss out!

Swim Meet Theme: For our Saturday (6/17/23) and Monday (6/19/23) swim meets, the theme is GREEN OUT. Wear all your Dolphin Green! Bring that Dolphin spirit to get ready for our first Saturday meet. The greener the better.

Wear your outfit to the Friday Pep Rally, Saturday HOME Meet, and Monday AWAY Meet!

Pep Rally Activity: As it's our first HOME meet of the season, we'll be making banners to decorate around the pool for the meet.

Pep Rally Meal Theme: Italian

Sponsoring Age Group: 13/14 & 15/18 year old swimmers
Food: Please plan to bring the dish assigned to your eldest child's age group. If anyone in your family has a dietary issue (allergen-free, gluten-free), just bring a dish to share that your family can all eat. Please mark the dish with a sign noting its special preparation.

Main Dish: 13-14, 15-18

Side Dish: 9-10, 11-12
Dessert: 8 & under

Drinks: Soda and water will be available for purchase - with profits benefiting the team. Or just bring along drinks for your family.

**Sponsoring Age group parents(13-18)-please be sure to sign up to help set up and or clean up at this event!

Time Trials

Greenbriar Pool

Start: 8:00 AM

Warm-up: 7:15 AM

End: 11:30 AM (estimated)

Time Trials provide the opportunity for swimmers to set baseline times in each stroke to start the season. These times are also used to determine who will swim at the first dual meet of the season. This is also an opportunity to learn how a swim meet works; please go the Job Signup page to volunteer. Entries close Monday June 5 at 6pm.

Warm-up times for Time Trials:

Afternoon Practice Group A	7:35am - 7:50am
Afternoon Practice Group B	7:35am - 7:50am
Afternoon Practice Group C	7:35am - 7:50am
Afternoon Practice Group D	7:15am - 7:30am
Afternoon Practice Group E	7:15am - 7:30am

The meet itself will start promptly at 8:00am. Our Coaches will make sure your swimmers are getting to the right place before their events.

Summer Swim 2023 Kick-off in the Park

Greenbriar Commons Park (next to pool)

Start: 5:00 PM

End: 6:00 PM (estimated)

If you are available this Friday May 26, you’re invited to join us at 5:00pm in the Greenbriar Commons Park (next to the pool) for a casual social to kick-off the summer swim season. Let’s enjoy some camaraderie while welcoming back returning families and meeting new ones.

There are no formal plans and families are welcome to bring outdoor entertainment (eg. balls, frisbees, chalk, bubbles).

Parking will be available in the pool parking lot.
