Sat Jul 25	2026 Greenbriar Dolphins Awards Banquet Rocky Run Cafeteria Start: 5:00 PM End: 8:00 PM 🏊♂️ 2026 End-of-Season Banquet – July 25th (Evening) We’re excited to celebrate an amazing swim season together at our End-of-Season Awards Banquet on the evening of July 25th! ✅ RSVP Required As with swim meets, all families must log in and declare their attendance as soon as possible. Please indicate whether your swimmer (and family members) will attend or decline. This step is extremely helpful as we finalize event planning. 💲 Cost Ages 10 & up: $12 Under age 10: $5 The fee helps cover venue rental and food. Mon Jul 20	AWAY Greenbriar Dolphins at Sully Station Supersonic Transporters (WFDL) 5101 Sequoia Farms Drive Centreville, VA 20120 Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:20 PM ADDRESS: 5101 Sequoia Farms Dr, Centreville, VA 20120 ARRIVAL TIMES: Please plan to arrive at 5:00 PM for warm‑ups at 5:20PM Marshals: On deck and ready by 5:15pm Officials Briefing at 5:30 pm Timer Briefing at 5:40 pm MEET STARTS: 6:00PM PARKING: Please feel free to park in the parking lot and along Sequoia Farms Drive. TEAM AREA: Please note that the team area is very sunny, so plan accordingly. Swimmers should bring their own chairs, as seating is not provided. CONCESSIONS: Items include cheeseburgers, hotdogs, and chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. The Snack Shack will also be open with a variety of sweet treats and ice cream. Cash, credit, and Venmo accepted.
Mon Jul 20	Movie Monday Regal Fairfax Town Center Start: 11:30 AM End: 2:30 PM (estimated) Monday Matinee Movie Meet-Up for Dolphin Swimmers Looking for a fun way to beat the heat and recharge before Monday Night Meets? Join us for Monday Matinee Movie Meet-Ups! Each week, Dolphin swimmers will gather at a local theater during the day to relax, enjoy a movie, and bond with teammates—while staying cool and out of the sun. From time to time, Dolphin coaches may also join us for the fun. Important: A parent or adult chaperone must stay and supervise any swimmer under the age of 10 during the movie. We hope you’ll join us for a relaxing and fun daytime outing with the team! All swimmers and attendees will be responsible for purchasing tickets and any snacks for the movie. We hope to see you at the movies!
Sun Jul 19	Sunday Pep Rally Superhero Halloween Bash Greenbriar Pool Start: 5:00 PM End: 7:00 PM 🦸🎃🐬 Greenbriar Dolphins Pep Rally – Superhero Halloween Bash! 🐬🎃🦸 Calling all superheroes, villains, ghosts, goblins, and Dolphins! Get ready for a night of spooky fun, breakfast-for-dinner favorites, and heroic team spirit at our most action-packed pep rally yet! 📍 Join us under the umbrellas near the sandpit for food, games, and festive fun. Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets, and bug spray! Costumes are highly encouraged! 🦸 Pep Rally Theme Superheroes & Halloween Dress as your favorite superhero, comic book character, spooky creature, or Halloween favorite! Capes, masks, and costumes welcome! 🎭 Pep Rally Activity Make Your Own Superhero Mask Swimmers will design and decorate custom superhero masks to show off their Dolphin powers! 🍬 Pep Rally Event Dolphin Trunk-or-Treat Families are invited to decorate their trunks and hand out candy to swimmers and siblings. Please park on the right hand side of the lot if you want to be a part of the trunk or treat. This is the last pep rally of the season, so please make it special for the swim and dive team and get some candy to hand out. Get creative with superhero or Halloween themes! 🥞 Pep Rally Meal - Dive Team Dolphin Diner selling Burgers & Hot Dogs. We will not be having a potluck this pep rally, but will be supporting the Dive team for their Dolphin Diner sales. Feel free to bring your own food for your family, or some money for the diner. We will also need some Swim parent volunteers to help grill, sell and clean up. Get ready for a SUPER spooky night full of Dolphin spirit, sweet treats, and unforgettable memories! 🦸🎃🐬🍬
Sat Jul 18	NVSL A-Meet G @ FH 4330 Old Columbia Pike Annandale, VA 22003 Start: 9:00 AM Warm-up: 8:25 AM End: 11:30 AM (estimated) Caravan: Meet at the Greenbriar Pool parking lot at 7:35 for a 7:40 departure. Warm ups 8:25-8:45; meet begins at 9:00 am. Swimmers must declare availability by 11:59pm on the Monday before the meet. Parking: Plenty of parking is available in their parking lot and there is ample street parking on Sleepy Hollow Road. Concessions: Their snack bar will be open with homemade hot breakfast items and the usual selection of baked goods, fruit and drinks. They accept cash and card payments. There is a bottle filling station next to the lifeguard room. Swimmers and parents will be notified no later than Thursday if they are entered in the meet and what events they are swimming. On Meet Day, swimmers will: Home Meets - Arrive ready to swim in team suit and cap at pool by 7:45am for 8:00am warm-ups Away Meets - Arrive ready to swim in team suit and cap at Greenbriar Pool parking lot by designated time to caravan to pool. We will depart right after swim pictures. Last year was a hit, and we hope even more swimmers can join us this time! ✅ Group Ticket Info We have secured a discounted group rate with 15+ swimmers, so please RSVP as soon as possible. 📅 RSVP Deadline: Saturday, July 11th 🎟 Payment Deadline: Saturday, July 11th I will purchase tickets on Sunday, July 12th. Kings Dominion Trip 💡 Important Notes: If you have already RSVP’d “yes,” please make sure your payment is submitted by July 11th. We would love to have all of our Dolphins present to be a part of our annual team picture. Please arrive by 8am so that we can get swimmers lined up and situated for a large group picture. Be sure to have your swimmer wear their team suit and pre-order your pictures to avoid any additional processing fees. Below is the information you will need regarding ordering. ONLINE ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS All orders must be placed online through our brand new website, which features a much more simplified and user-friendly ordering process. Check and cash payments will no longer be accepted. Picture proofs will not be available for online viewing. Go to: www.olsonphotography.com Families will use the league’s access code: SWIM to place their order. New & Improved Ordering: No account creation is required. Multiple children can now be added to the same order for your convenience. If ordering for more than one child, you will receive separate order numbers for each child, even if they are placed in the same transaction. Orders should be placed prior to or on picture day. Orders placed after picture day will incur additional processing fees. VERY IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS The order number generated at checkout must be written on the photo slip and given to the photographer when the child’s picture is taken. Mon Jul 13	AWAY Greenbriar Dolphins at Oakton Otters (WFDL) (IM first) 11714 Flemish Mill Court Oakton, VA 22124 Start: 6:00 PM Warm-up: 5:20 PM Swimmers must select events for swimming by 11:59pm on the Saturday before the meet. This is a developmental meet. All swimmers are eligible to swim. Times earned help to determine placement in future Saturday dual meets. Swimmers can enter into two strokes (free, back, breast, fly) plus IM. Feel free to leave a note for the coach while signing your swimmers up for their events if you have concerns or preferences. If you have a swimmer in the meet please select a volunteer job your family can complete for the team. The Meet Program can be viewed or downloaded on the Meet Programs “Meet Sheets” (members only) webpage. Results will be posted to the Meet Results (members only) webpage. Parking: Some availability in their parking lot. Overflow street parking is only allowed on one side of Flemish Mill. Please do not park where there are orange cones, and be aware of fire hydrants, mailboxes and driveways. Refreshments: They will have snack-type food, pizza, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, Willard's Pulled Pork Sandwiches, fruit cups, ice cream and Rita's available for purchase. Their credit card reader is acting up so cash is preferred.
