Movie Monday- How to Train your Dragon

If you are looking for a way to beat the heat and swim fatigue to rest up for all Monday Night Meets, join us for movie fun & bonding. Each Monday, we will get a group of Dolphin swimmers together and meet at a local theater for some nice relaxing entertainment out of the sun. Some weeks some Dolphin coaches maybe in attendance as well. A parent or adult chaperone will be expected to stay and watch the movie and supervise any swimmer under 10 years old. All swimmers and attendees will be responsible for purchasing tickets and any snacks for the movie. We hope to see you at the movies! |

Friday Night Pep Rally -6/13 Green Out

Please join us under the umbrellas near the sand pit for food and fun. Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets and BUG spray! This will be our KICKOFF Pep rally event of the season, so don't miss out! We will be decorating cars for our Saturday away meet. Older swimmers will assist younger swimmers with decorating windows & writing names on cars to make our caravan stand out as we enter our opponent’s pool and neighborhood. Pep Rally Theme- Please west your new team shirt and as much green as possible. Pep Rally Meal Theme: Italian Sponsoring Age Group: 13/14 & 15-18 year old swimmers Main Dish: 13-14, 15-18 Side Dish: 9-10, 11-12 Drinks: Soda and water will be available for purchase - with profits benefiting the team. Or just bring along drinks for your family. **Sponsoring Age group parents(13-18)-please be sure to sign up to help set up and or clean up at this event! |

Pancake Breakfast

We are flipping excited to host our annual Dolphin Pancake Breakfast for our swimmers for the 2025 season. Please RSVP by June 7th and sign up as a volunteer to help with setup, pancake making, or cleanup. We will need a good number of parents to help make this event run smoothly for our swimmers. |

Come cheer on the Washington Spirit as they take on the North Carolina Courage at Audi Field on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 4:00PM. Northern Virginia Swim League has the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets. If you're a group of 10 or more, or are interest in Matchday Memories please contact Nele Graner by email [email protected] or calling 571-404-0578. I have created a RSVP for this event and if there are more than 10, you all can reach out the Nele and she can work on getting tickets together, so our Dolphin Swimmers can cheer on the Spirit together. Ice Cream Social and Field Games

We are kicking off the swim season with a social gathering at the park right beside the pool. We will have field games, relay races, corn hole & other games that kids & adults can enjoy. Swim Team will be providing the ice cream, families that join are requested to bring a dessert topping of their choice. Please stop by for some fun team building and yummy dessert before time trials. We will need volunteers to help set up, run the games, scoop ice cream and clean up. Please RSVP by June 5th , so we know how much ice cream to purchase for this event. After this, we would greatly appreciate help at the pool setting up for time trials the next morning. |

2024 Greenbriar Dolphins Awards Banquet

The evening of July 20th is when we celebrate the end of the season with our awards banquet. 1.Like our swim meets, we are asking families to log in and declare or decline whether their swimmer and family members will attend the banquet ASAP. For those of you who are undeclared, please navigate to the event page and identify whether your swimmer will attend or not. This act alone helps us a great deal in planning for this event. Cost for the banquet will be $10 per person for 10+ and $5 for under 10. We will have pizza, pinwheels, fruit, veggies and nuggets. The additional cost helps cover the venue rental & food. Team Store - Greenbriar Dolphin Swim Team Adult Team Store - Greenbriar Dolphin Swim Team- Children 10 and under We need lot of volunteers to help with this last event of the season. Please sign up to help in some way if you plan on attending the banquet. We are hoping to have each age group sit together to help the paper plate awards go a little faster this year. We look forward to celebrating the awesome 2024 season! |

On the Saturday following the fifth dual meet, each division has an individual championship meet, commonly referred to as "Divisionals". Each team is allowed to enter two swimmers in each event and a swimmer can enter no more than two events. This is an individual meet and is not scored.
