Fairfax Corner 12:45pm movie. If you are looking for a way to beat the heat and swim fatigue to rest up for all Monday Night Meets, join us for movie fun & bonding. Each Monday, we will get a group of Dolphin swimmers together and meet at a local Theater for some nice relaxing entertainment out of the sun. A parent or adult chaperone will be expected to stay and watch the movie and supervise any swimmer under 10 years old. All swimmers and attendees will be responsible for purchasing tickets and any snacks for the movie. We will try and determine the movie that we will be going to by Sunday afternoon each week. We hope to see you at the movies!

Wear your brightest outfit and accessories to the Friday Pep Rally, Saturday & Monday Away Meets! This is a home developmental meet. All swimmers are eligible to swim. Times earned to determine placement in future Saturday dual meets. Swimmers can enter into two strokes (free, back, breast, fly) plus IM. Feel free to leave a note for the coach while signing your swimmers up for their events if you have concerns or preferences. These events are a great time for families to meet at the pool, socialize and build team spirit. All team members are welcome to come even if you are not swimming in the A meet! Swim Meet Theme: For our Saturday (6/29/24) and Monday (7/1/24) swim meets, the theme is Olympics /RED, WHITE & BLUE. Wear your outfit to the Friday Pep Rally, Saturday Away Meet, and Monday Home Meet! Pep Rally Activity: Olympic Relay games (Tug of War, Egg Drop Races, 6 legged races, sac races). Maybe we will even have a few parents join in on the games. On Meet Day, swimmers will: -Arrive ready in the team area at the host pool by 5:10 pm for warm-ups which begin promptly at 5:25PM. -Swim in their team suit and team cap Pool Address: 6201 Sandstone Way Clifton, VA 20124 Parking (from the host team): Ample parking is available at Union Mill Elementary school on Springstone Drive, next to the pool. There is a connecting path between the pool and school parking lots toward the back end of the UMES lot. If parking on Sandstone Way, please be advised to leave adequate (10ft) clearance from driveways or risk being towed. Seating(info from the host team):** Greenbriar swimmers will have a designated area near the diving well. Swimmers will want to bring their own chairs for this area. Spectators will have a few rows of chairs on the pool deck, but all are welcome to provide their own chairs to set up on the deck or on the sidewalk outside the pool. We also have built in bleachers outside the pool for shaded viewing. Snack Shack (from the host team): The Stingray Snack Shack will be open and features swim meet favorites, such as Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, etc. We'll also have our standard drinks, snow cones, candy, etc. The Snack Shack accepts cash (no bills larger than $20, and small bills preferred), credit, Venmo, and Apple Pay.
