Swimmers and Coaches

  • SWIMMERS SHOULD ARRIVE AT THE SLEEPY HOLLOW BATH & RAQUET POOL TO BE IN OUR TEAM AREA, READY TO SWIM, NO LATER THAN 5:00PM.

  • SWIMMER DROP OFF WILL BE AT IN FRONT OF THE POOL HOUSE

  • WARMUPS FOR GREENBRIAR BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 5:20PM in lanes 4, 5, and 6

  • Please ensure your swimmers come prepared to swim in their Greenbriar Team Cap. NOT SWIMMING IN A GREENBRIAR CAP IS A DISQUALIFIABLE INFRACTION.

  • Racing in suits other than their Greenbriar Team Suit ARE allowed for this meet (i.e. racing suit) for swimmers aged 13 and up. USA SWIM (including the NVSL) prohibits tech suits for swimmers aged 12 and under.

  • THE FIRST EVENT BEGINS AT 6:00PM

  • The Greenbriar Starting Lane Assignment is 5. In the next event, Greenbriar would be in lane 6, followed by lane 1 in the event following that. The team continues movig one lane over for each event until the end of the swim meet.

  • The Greenbriar Team Rest Area is located to the right of the warm up pool. The team will also have a viewing area for the swimmers next to the competition pool.

  • DO NOT GO TO THE WRONG POOL. Sleepy Hollow Rec, which is next door, is hosting the Division 6 Relay Carnival.

Officials and Volunteers

  • Please ensure you wear NON-PARTISAN white tops and navy bottoms for all volunteer positions
  • Marshals need to be on deck for their respective team warm-ups.
  • The timeline has various officials briefings beginning at 5:05 PM, so officials should arrive no later than 4:50 pm.
  • We have a limited number of passes that will allow our officials and other key volunteers to park in the pool parking lot. These will be distributed on Monday and Tuesday.
  • One photographer per team is allowed.

There will be a group of swimmers heading to Regal on Tuesday at 1pm. They are going to see-Across the spiderverse at 1pm.

This is not a drop off event. Parent or adult chaperone is expected to stay with their swimmer for the movie.

Friday Night Pep Rally - Hawaiian

ALOHA!! It’s TIKI time. Hula on over and join us at the tables under the umbrellas near the sandpit for some tropical food and fun. Which swimmer will be the last one standing in the limbo contest???  Which Hula chain relay team will cross the finish line first and win bragging rites for the week?? Which team will be the champion of the Tacky Tourists? 

Sport your most colorful shirt and trunks. Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets and BUG SPRAY! All team members are welcome to come even if you are not swimming in the A meet! Come limbo, Hula and socialize with your teammates. 

Swim Meet Theme: For our Saturday (6/24/23) and Monday (6/26/23) swim meets, the theme is Hawaiian. Wear your wildest Hawaiian attire to the Friday Pep Rally, Saturday Home Meet, and Monday Home Meet!

Pep Rally Activity: Hula Hoop Chain Race, Tacky Tourist Contest & Limbo contest. 

Pep Rally Meal Theme: Hawaiian Luau- BBQ

Sponsoring Age Group: 9/10 & 11/12 swimmers
Food: Please plan to bring the dish assigned to your eldest child's age group. If anyone in your family has a dietary issue (allergen-free, gluten-free), just bring a dish to share that your family can all eat. Please mark the dish with a sign noting its special preparation.

Friday Night Pep Rally -Green Out

Please join us in the side lot beside the pool for food and fun. Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets and BUG spray! This will be our KICK OFF event of the season and we will be making banners for the home meet on Saturday, so don't miss out!

Swim Meet Theme: For our Saturday (6/17/23) and Monday (6/19/23) swim meets, the theme is GREEN OUT.  Wear all your Dolphin Green! Bring that Dolphin spirit to get ready for our first Saturday meet. The greener the better. 

Wear your outfit to the Friday Pep Rally, Saturday HOME Meet, and Monday AWAY Meet!

Time Trials provide the opportunity for swimmers to set baseline times in each stroke to start the season. These times are also used to determine who will swim at the first dual meet of the season.  This is also an opportunity to learn how a swim meet works; please go the Job Signup page to volunteer.  Entries close Monday June 5 at 6pm.

Summer Swim 2023 Kick-off in the Park

If you are available this Friday May 26, you’re invited to join us at 5:00pm in the Greenbriar Commons Park (next to the pool) for a casual social to kick-off the summer swim season. Let’s enjoy some camaraderie while welcoming back returning families and meeting new ones.

There are no formal plans and families are welcome to bring outdoor entertainment (eg. balls, frisbees, chalk, bubbles).

Parking will be available in the pool parking lot.
