Sat Jun 20	AWAY Greenbriar Dolphins at Mount Vernon Park Gators (NVSL) 8042 Fairfax Road Alexandria, VA 22308 Start: 9:00 AM Swimmers must declare availability by 11:59pm on the Monday before the meet. Swimmers and parents will be notified no later than Thursday if they are entered in the meet and what events they are swimming. On Meet Day, swimmers will: Arrive ready to swim in team suit and with cap at Greenbriar Pool parking lot by 7:15 to caravan to pool. The caravan will leave at 7:20. The Meet Program can be viewed or downloaded on the Meet Programs “Meet Sheets” (members only) webpage. Results will be posted to the Meet Results (members only) webpage.
Mon Jun 22	Movie Monday Regal Fairfax Town Center Start: 11:30 AM End: 2:30 PM (estimated) Monday Matinee Movie Meet-Up for Dolphin Swimmers Looking for a fun way to beat the heat and recharge before Monday Night Meets? Join us for Monday Matinee Movie Meet-Ups! Each week, Dolphin swimmers will gather at a local theater during the day to relax, enjoy a movie, and bond with teammates—while staying cool and out of the sun. From time to time, Dolphin coaches may also join us for the fun. Important: A parent or adult chaperone must stay and supervise any swimmer under the age of 10 during the movie. We hope you’ll join us for a relaxing and fun daytime outing with the team! All swimmers and attendees will be responsible for purchasing tickets and any snacks for the movie. We hope to see you at the movies!
Mon Jun 22	HOME Greenbriar Dolphins Hosting Brookfield Breakers (WFDL) 13001 Point Pleasant Drive Fairfax, VA 22033 Start: 6:00 PM Swimmers must select events for swimming by 11:59pm on the Saturday before the meet. This is a developmental meet. All swimmers are eligible to swim. Times earned help to determine placement in future Saturday dual meets. Swimmers can enter into two strokes (free, back, breast, fly) plus IM. Feel free to leave a note for the coach while signing your swimmers up for their events if you have concerns or preferences. If you have a swimmer in the meet please select a volunteer job your family can complete for the team. The Meet Program can be viewed or downloaded on the Meet Programs “Meet Sheets” (members only) webpage. Results will be posted to the Meet Results (members only) webpage.
Fri Jun 26	Friday 6/26 Pep Rally -Crazy Sunglasses, Hair & Hats Greenbriar Pool Start: 6:00 PM End: 8:00 PM 🌴😎 Greenbriar Dolphins Pep Rally — Tacky Tourist Edition! 😎🌴 Grab your craziest hats, wildest hair, and most outrageous sunglasses and join us under the umbrellas near the sandpit for some food and fun! 🐬☀️🌺 Which team will become the champions of the Tacky Tourist Relay? 🏆🌴 Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets, and BUG SPRAY! All team members are welcome — even if you are not swimming in the A Meet! 🏊 Swim Meet Theme: For our Saturday (6/27) and Monday (6/29) swim meets, the theme is Crazy Hats, Hair & Sunglasses! Wear your wildest attire to the Friday Pep Rally, Saturday Meet, and Monday Meet! 🎨 Pep Rally Activity: Since it’s our first HOME Saturday meet of the season, we’ll be hanging banners around the pool deck and making signs and posters to cheer on the Dolphins! 🏃 Pep Rally Game: 🌴 Tacky Tourist Relay 🌴 🌮 Pep Rally Meal Theme: Mexican Fiesta! 🍽 Food: Please bring the dish to share. If your family has dietary restrictions (allergen-free, gluten-free, etc.), please bring a dish your family can enjoy and label any special preparations. 🥤 Drinks: Soda and water will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the team — or feel free to bring drinks for your family. 📣 Sponsoring age group parents( 11/12 year olds) — please be sure to sign up to be the coordinator of this pep rally! Let’s pack the pool deck with Dolphin spirit and make the first HOME meet of the season one to remember! 💚🐬

Sat Jun 27	Swim and Dive Late Night Greenbriar Pool Start: 8:30 PM End: 11:00 PM (estimated) Join us for a swim and dive late night at the pool. Swim team will be providing pizza. Dive Team will provide the ice cream. Families are requested to bring the following items to supplement our refreshments: Families with the last name A-L: drinks - water, sports drink or soda Families with the last name M-Z: your favorite sundae toppings Volunteers are also needed for set-up, activities, and clean-up. Tue Jun 30	Dolphin Bowling- Bolero Centreville Bolero 13814 Lee Hwy Centreville, Virginia 20120 Start: 4:30 PM End: 6:00 PM (estimated) 🏊🎳 Let’s Strike Up Some Dolphin Team Spirit! 🎳🏊 Imagine a place where cheers mix with the sound of falling pins — the perfect setting for team bonding, laughter, and a little friendly competition! Bowling alleys create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where teammates can connect outside the pool and strengthen the friendships that make our team so special. For one afternoon, Dolphin swimmers will be rolling strikes instead of waves! 🐬 Greenbriar Dolphins Bowling Social 📍 Bolero Centreville 13814 Lee Hwy. Centreville, VA 20120 📅 Wednesday, June 30th ⏰ 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM 🎳 Bowling lanes will be reserved for 1½ hours. 👟 Shoe rentals are included. 🎮 Each swimmer will also receive a $10 arcade card! 🍔 Food will not be provided, but families and swimmers are welcome to purchase food and drinks from the restaurant/bar area. 💲 Cost: $20 per swimmer/bowler 📆 Payment Deadline: June 25th https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/greenbriar-dolphin-bowling We will follow up on June 25th with anyone who RSVP’d “Yes” but has not yet submitted payment. 📝 Please RSVP by June 25th so Bolero can finalize our lane reservations and ensure we have enough space for all attending swimmers. Greenbriar Pool Start: 6:00 PM End: 8:30 PM 🐬 Greenbriar Dolphins Pep Rally – Red, White & Blue Bash! 🐬 Join us for a fun-filled patriotic pep rally packed with team spirit, tie-dye, and relay race excitement! Wear your best red, white, and blue gear and get ready for an unforgettable evening with the Dolphins! 📍 Meet us under the umbrellas near the sandpit for food, fun, and team bonding. Bring your folding chairs, picnic blankets, and bug spray! All swimmers and families are welcome — even if you’re not swimming in the meet! Pep Rally Theme Red, White & Blue Dress in your favorite patriotic colors and festive swim gear! 👕 Pep Rally Activity Red, White & Blue Tie-Dye Shirts Swimmers will create custom tie-dye shirts to wear throughout the season. Be prepared to get a little messy and creative! If your swimmers wants to participate in this, please bring a white shirt or tank top to tie dye. 🏃 Pep Rally Games All-American Relay Races Get ready for exciting team relay competitions, challenges, and lots of cheering! Which group will take home relay bragging rights? 🍔 Pep Rally Meal Theme Classic American Cookout Think burgers, hot dogs, BBQ favorites, chips, fruit, and patriotic desserts! 🍽️ Food Please plan to bring the dish to share. If your family has dietary restrictions, feel free to bring a dish your family can enjoy and share. Please label any allergen-friendly or gluten-free items.
