Monday Matinee Movie Meet-Up for Dolphin Swimmers

Looking for a fun way to beat the heat and recharge before Monday Night Meets? Join us for Monday Matinee Movie Meet-Ups! Each week, Dolphin swimmers will gather at a local theater during the day to relax, enjoy a movie, and bond with teammates—while staying cool and out of the sun.

From time to time, Dolphin coaches may also join us for the fun.

Important:

• A parent or adult chaperone must stay and supervise any swimmer under the age of 10 during the movie.

We hope you’ll join us for a relaxing and fun daytime outing with the team!

All swimmers and attendees will be responsible for purchasing tickets and any snacks for the movie.

This is a great opportunity for swimmers to hang out outside the pool, strengthen friendships, and celebrate an awesome summer season together!

How Non-Host Families Can Help

Families who are not hosting are essential to making this event successful. We ask that you sign up to contribute items or assist with logistics using the “Job Signup” section for this event.

Additionally, please indicate what you will be bringing for the host families in the SignUp Genius.

Sign-Up Needs

We are looking for volunteers for the following:

Food Contributions

• Appetizers:
  10 families to deliver appetizers to the Kim's house
• ⏰ By 4:45 PM on the day of the event
• Main Course: 
  12 families to deliver main course items to the Wong's house
  ⏰ Between 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• Desserts:
  8 families to deliver desserts to the Wayments
  ⏰ By 7:30 PM

Equipment Support

• Folding Chairs:
  4 families to deliver 4 folding chairs each
  ⏰ By 2:00 PM to the main course location
• Folding Tables:
  4 families to deliver 1 folding table each
  ⏰ By 2:00 PM to the main course location

Transportation Volunteers

We also need drivers with larger vehicles for student transport:

• 4+ drivers to shuttle from appetizers → main course
• 4+ drivers to shuttle from main course → dessert

🐬 Dolphins Trip to Kings Dominion – Thursday, July 16th 🎢

Our annual Dolphins trip to Kings Dominion is coming up on Thursday, July 16th! We will depart right after swim pictures.

Last year was a hit, and we hope even more swimmers can join us this time!

We have secured a discounted group rate with 15+ swimmers, so please RSVP as soon as possible.

I will purchase tickets on Sunday, July 12th.

• If you have already RSVP’d “yes,” please make sure your payment is submitted by July 11th.
