Hello Dolphin Families!

As we inch closer to the summer months, it's time to start gearing up for another fantastic season of Greenbriar Summer Swim! We're thrilled to share some important updates and information about what's in store for the upcoming season.

Team Reps Firstly, we're excited to announce the addition of two wonderful volunteers who will be joining Dan Klanderman and Rob Wayment as Assistant Team Reps this year. Stephanie Kim and Trinity Pomar will be working closely with us, with Stephanie focusing on NVSL/A Meets and Trinity concentrating on our WFDL/B Meets. Their support will be invaluable in ensuring a smooth and successful season for all.

Division Assignment This past Sunday, the NVSL held its annual seeding meeting, marking the official kickoff of the season. Greenbriar will remain in Division 11 this season, alongside Mosby Woods and four other NVSL teams. We're looking forward to some exciting competition ahead!

• May 28th (Tue): First Practices (Afternoon)
• June 8th (Sat): Time Trials @ Greenbriar
• June 15th (Sat): First Home A Meet
• June 22nd, 29th, & July 6th (Sat): Away A Meets
• June 26th (Wed): Division 11 Relay Carnival
• July 10th (Wed): All Star Relay Carnival @ Rutherford Pool
• July 13th (Sat): Final Home A Meet & Senior Recognition
• July 20th (Sat): Divisionals @ Greenbriar; End of Season Banquet
• July 27th (Sat): Individual All Stars @ Pinecrest

Coaching Staff We're delighted to welcome back Head Coach Pat McAndrews for another exciting season with the Greenbriar Dolphins Swim Team. We are also in the process of hiring a new Assistant Head Coach. If you're interested or know someone who might be, please visitthis link for more information. Additionally, keep an eye out for openings for our developmental coach positions, intended for swimmers aged 15 and over.

Certified Officials We're in need of certified officials for the upcoming season. If you're interested in becoming an NVSL certified official, please consider attending one of the 2024 NVSL Certified Officials Clinics. It's a small time commitment (about 2 hours) with no exams required. We'll provide training and support as you transition into the role. For returning officials, remember that certifications are valid for two seasons. In addition to renewing your certification, please consider getting certified as a Starter or Referee to bolster our crew.
